Customer Reviews
ParaSpa Plus® Paraffin Bath is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Features I ordered my Paraffin Bath on July 22, and received it at my door July 27 , I was very happy with how fast it arrived. I have used my Machine 5 times now , it takes 2 to 3 hrs the first time you use it for all the wax to melt but each times it takes less , just don't wait to plug it in when you think you want to use it , get up in the morning plug it in go make a coffee and it is ready before you know it . If you find it to hot once the green light comes on wait until a little wax starts to harden around the sides and do your test on your wrist and it is ready to go. I love mine, no more pain in my hands.the machine is just for me so when I have finished my treatment my wax goes back in , my hands are clean when i start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase! I bought this for my parents for Christmas. They both have arthritic hands. My mom loves it. Feels very nice on her hands. The wax gets very hot so dip quickly.

Q & A

What are the liners for? They don’t fit the bath.

Asked by: GLee86
Thank you for your question. The liners are used to extend the warmth of the wax. For extended warmth, place a plastic liner over the treated area and twist bag at opening. Keep paraffin wax and liner on treated area for 10–20 minutes for ultimate luxury.

I have had the spa for over a year. I haven't used it in a while. Today I plugged it in and after about 3 hours the green light is on saying it is ready to use but a lot of the wax around the edges is not melted. What should I do?

Asked by: loulou 66
Thank you for your question. The ParaSpa Plus unit is designed to be used at room temperature. If the wax starts to solidify or flakes form on the top surface, close lid and press power button.

Hello I just bought this and it said it would take three hours initially to melt the wax. I followed the directions and after about an hour the green ready light came on and not all of the wax is melted. Please advise.  Thank you.

Asked by: Rufus39
Initial wax melt time will take approximately 3 hours. If green ready light comes on before wax is fully melted, replace lid and wait until 3 hours has been reached for complete melt.

I received a homedics paraspa plus for christmas. The temperature of the wax is too hot for me. I turned it off to cool a little. The wax started to solidify on top but it was still too warm. It had 3 lbs of wax. What can I do to decreade the temp?

Asked by: Penny51
This unit may feel very warm to sensitive skin. However, in order to fully experience the benefits of warm paraffin, the wax must be melted to a temperature between 123–131 degrees. If you are very sensitive to heat or feel that this appliance may not be for you, please return this product to the place of purchase.
